June 1, 2021: Today was the deadline for panel submissions to the Japanese Studies Association of Australia (JSAA) 2021 Conference, and we’re very happy to say that we’ve submitted a New Voices in Japanese Studies panel again this year.
The panel we’ve proposed to JSAA features two authors from NVJS 12 and one author from the forthcoming NVJS 13. If accepted, we’ll be supporting the participation of these authors in the conference via our New Voices Scholar program. The panel will be chaired by NVJS 13 Guest Editor, Dr Gwyn McClelland.
The JSAA 2021 Conference committee is scheduled to announce panel acceptances in early July. Stay tuned for updates.
