New Voices in Japanese Studies is delighted to support Masters student Madeleine Sbeghen as this year’s New Voices Scholar. Madeleine will have the opportunity to present her research at the 2017 Japanese Studies Association of Australia (JSAA) conference, June 27-30, at the University of Wollongong.
Madeleine’s research on community engagement with wildlife conservation in Japan, with particular attention to the case of the Okinawa Rail, will be published in the upcoming edition of NVJS.
